My name is Jared Dickey. This is my 26th year in the education profession and my sixth as an assistant principal. I am a graduate of Lowndes High School and Valdosta State University. I spent my first 4 years in education at other local schools and began at Lowndes High School in 2002. When I first started at Lowndes High, I was the head softball coach and a Social Studies teacher. I coached softball at LHS for 7 seasons. In 2008 I stepped away from the coaching profession and began my focus as a teacher-leader at LHS. My main duties at LHS include supervising the Social Studies department, master calendar, facilities, and 11th grade discipline. I am married to Stacy Dickey. We have two daughters. Our oldest daughter is a UGA student and our youngest is currently an 12th grader at LHS.
